We have a rare opportunity for a skilled Design and Project Engineer to join an industry leader in the Industrial Valve Sector. Our Client is focused on providing made to order solutions for Alberta’s booming Oil and Gas community. In order to keep up with increasing demands they are looking to add an innovative Mechanical Engineer who can provide technical support, instructions and documentation for a wide variety of custom application projects.

Your challenge

As the chosen Design and Project Engineer, you will have the opportunity to utilize world class facilities while performing new product designs, maintaining and revising existing designs, and creating custom solutions to project specifications. Other responsibilities will include coordinating design activities and maintaining design files, modifying or creating drawings, approving engineering drawings, providing training, initiating and approving engineering change notices, directing the activities for designers and drafters, and providing technical product support for internal and external customers.

Your Background 

The best and brightest engineers are confident in their abilities but are also humble, focused, highly intelligent, and driven to create new solutions. Qualified candidates for this Design and Project Engineer opportunity should have an engineering degree from a recognized University, and be eligible for registration with APEGGA. Three or more years experience and knowledge of choke valve function will be essential to success in this position. Required profile should include strong accuracy and attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, safety focus, and strong communication & interpersonal skills. Preference will be given to individuals with strong experience supporting Oil and Gas projects and clientele.
